The Origins of FourthAmendmentBlog

Daniel Woislaw is an attorney at Pacific Legal Foundation where he litigates to set precedents that favor individual liberty. Previously a public defender, he is a magna cum laude graduate of The Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University, and a prior Senior Research Editor for the George Mason University Civil Rights Law Journal.
Originally from Worcester County, Massachusetts, I grew up visiting Boston, walking its historic "Freedom Trail", and learning about the great patriots who played an integral role in the American Revolution. One of the catalysts for that revolution was the oppresive British "writs of assistance" and general warrants. The Fourth Amendment was crafted to avoid these egregious invasions of individual liberty and privacy in the future. It is a devotion to these interests that drove me to create the FourthAmendmentBlog.
